Code Check Building for California
The 2007 California Building Code was a major change for California. California’s code development was on hold for several years and the 1997 UBC was the model code in effect until January 1, 2008. This book only deals with the building code changes (not plumbing, mechanical or electrical) and the book includes an extensive (4 page) summary of changes between the prior code and the 2007 CBC. Projects for which the permit application was prior to 2011 will still be using the codes that are in this book. The book includes 16 tables and 61 illustrations. This book is in the popular flip-chart format, with spill-proof pages for durability and field use. See sample pages.
